This hot sauce recipe isn’t too spicy but is packed with the delicious smoky flavour of chipotle peppers.
5 dry chipotle peppers
1/2 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp organic ketchup
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2.5 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- Once boiled, turn the heat down to low and simmer for 1 hour.
- Blend the mixture until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
