You can make a smoothie bowl with any ingredients you have in your fridge. No recipe is required, and the possibilities are endless! There are 2 simple steps:
- Gather desired fruits and vegetables for your smoothie. Using frozen fruit is best as you want a nice thick and frozen consistency. If you don’t have frozen fruit you can also add ice! Suggested ingredients that make delicious smoothie bowls are bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mangos, pineapples, kale, spinach, and chard. Blend your smoothie and pour into a bowl.
- Top off your smoothie bowl with superfoods, nuts, seeds, fruits, etc. Some delicious options include goji berries, banana slices (or any fruit slices), berries, granola, coconut shreds, chia seeds, and hemp seeds.
Smoothie bowls are an excellent breakfast idea. They’re also great for when you’re craving a sweet snack! So easy, so nourishing for your body, and SO delicious.
